Native Las Palmas It is one of the most interesting and tasteful projects we have seen recently in Gran Canaria. It is a restaurant and bar with healthy cuisine that has a grass area to lie down and its own pool. Best of all, it's not in the south. We tell you everything below!
Native Las Palmas
Nativo Las Palmas is on the highway Moya next to the coastal road in the north of the island. In turn, it is located within the Jacio House hostel. We love to know that not all the tourism and attractions of the island are concentrated in the southern area. These two projects are a clear commitment to the authentic and the local. For giving more leisure options to the resident and our visitors.
Another thing we like about this place is that you can order their breakfast menu all day. They have delicious bowls, different toast options and even pancakes.. At the same time, within these options they have lactose-free, vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free alternatives. We have only gone for breakfast at the moment, but we took a look at their menu. They have a good offer of healthy cuisine for all tastes for the rest of the meals of the day. We try the Avo Toast and the Iberian toast + a plate of natural fruit. All very rich.
Finally, if you just want to go out for a drink, they have both own cocktail options, such as coffees, juices and even the famous Aperol Spritz aperitif. You can have these drinks both at the tables on the terrace and on the sun loungers on the lawn.
As we told you at the beginning, the place is set up with great taste, detail and care. It is noticeable both in the quality of the materials and in the work finishes. The place undoubtedly invites you to spend the day there without looking at the clock.
And with a pool!
As we told you at the beginning, inside this hostel and restaurant, Clients will be able to enjoy this small pool. Super necessary for hot days or to reduce the possible symptoms of one too many cocktails. In any case, very close you have many of the best natural pools in Gran Canaria, like that of San Lorenzo Puddle.
Next we leave you with a small video of our visit to Nativo Las Palmas. You can subscribe to our YouTube channel so as not to miss any more plans like this one in Gran Canaria. How about? Have you already been here? Tell us!

Very bad experience
We went as a family on our wedding day, table of 8 people
It is a very nice place but with pretensions that do not even come close.
The quality – quantity – price relationship is terrible
There were several dishes like the salad that were not very edible.
Both food and drink are very expensive.
And let's not talk about the service, as a fact, half of the tables were empty, they were not full.
20 minutes to bring a cola and water
The meal times were very long and some dishes arrived cold because they left them on the bar for a long time, even though we were the closest table. We got up twice to get the food ourselves.
Bad experience to not return, let alone ruin the day that was so special for us.

Good afternoon,
The place is nice and the food is not bad, but I think charging €3 for a beer is a rip-off. I know how much a beer costs and at €1,20 you can already make a profit. That a group of 6 people paid €3 for beers (not premium bottles) in 117 hours is unacceptable. €3 is the price of a premium beer, never of a beer.
Isabel says
What is consumed does not matter whether it is in 3 hours or two. The truth is that the average beer is 6,5 per person. 39 beers were drunk!!! It's just... hahaha
