On this occasion we want to introduce you to the Recreational Area of La Laguna de Valleseco. A recreational area in the heart of the Doramas Rural Park, inside of Gran Canaria. This outdoor space is ideal for walking y spend the day with friends and familyas it has picnic areas, barbecue area and playground. In addition, It stands out because inside we can walk several trails and find a lagoon with different types of birds. It is also a racecourse where you can watch horses train and occasionally compete, we'll tell you!
Valleseco Lagoon, Gran Canaria
El La Laguna Recreational Area It is located in the municipality of Valleseco. Inside it has a small lagoon with different types of birds (ducks and other species) and samples of Laurisilva. Furthermore, on its trails there are different informative posters about the species that inhabit the Doramas Rural Park.
This natural space also serves as training for horses thanks to its racecourse, houses encounters of boy scouts, bicycle races for children and the Valleseco apple festival, among others. Permission to reserve La Laguna de Valleseco

How to get to Valleseco Lagoon
The lagoon is less than 3 kilometers from the town of Valleseco. To get there you can enter the La Laguna de Valleseco Recreational Area in your GPS and it will find it without any problem. It is approximately 40 minutes from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and 1 hour and 10 from the south. It has two main entrances, you can choose the one that is most comfortable for you. Which is next to the largest parking lot you will find it on the way to Valleseco going up the Pico de Osorio road.

Hello Dácil, we haven't been going since January 2021 and when we went you could walk around the entire facility. The only prohibition was regarding the use of picnic tables, they were sealed.
