El Uruguayan powder It is more than just a dessert; it's a journey of flavors that unites Uruguay, with its delicious dulce de leche, and the Canary Islands, with our sighs from Moya. For those who don't know, Moya sighs are the traditional dry meringue and are very typical in the town of Moya, Gran Canaria. But why is he so rich? canary powder? What other ingredients does it contain? The key is in the concoction As I would say, take note.

Uruguayan powder ingredients:

Recipe preparation:

  1. Start by crushing the Maria cookies with the help of a grinder until obtaining a fine powder. This will be the first step for our cookie base.
  2. Mix the crushed cookies with the melted butter. With this you will create the crunchy base of the dessert.
  3. Next, mount the born, making sure it is firm. You can add a little sugar, although the dulce de leche and sugar from the meringue will be enough.
  4. In a large glass, start layering your dessert with the cookie mixture, followed by a generous layer of fudge.
  5. Add the sighs of Moya or dried meringues crumbled over the dulce de leche, and cover with the whipped cream. Repeat this process until the glass is full.
