On this occasion we want to share with you a circular route through Heron Eyes, Ingenio y arinaga on gravel bike. A very interesting half coastal, half inland route through the eastern part of Gran Canaria. It is characterized by crossing a variety of trails, tracks and roads that make it perfect for a short-course Gravel Bike or MTB.
Dirt tracks by Ingenio
We start the route in Ojos de Garza going up towards Ingenio along some dirt tracks that go directly into the interior of the Island (don't worry, we won't go up that much). Note that These dirt tracks are not very crowded and can be somewhat windy, depending on the time of year.

Route with little technical difficulty
Most of the route runs along trails and tracks with little technical difficulty. Only one path that takes us to Ingenio has a slight difficulty, very slight. This path takes us to town of Ingenio, where we can buy drinks or load up on energy bars. Or a mixed sandwich!
Once we arrived at Ingenio, We will go to Arinaga along some hidden dirt tracks, downhill. Then we will connect with a little road until we reach the town of Arinaga. Here the route continues along the coast.
The rest of the route we will alternate between dirt tracks and trails. Passing through the Cabrón beach until finishing again in Ojos de Garza. With which, We will not pass through the same area at any time. It is a quite entertaining circular route with good views. Little technical difficulty and guaranteed fun, especially if you catch a day with little wind.
