Gran Canaria beach clubs: list with info and prices

05/08/2023 - Ruth & Jorge

In this article we are going to tell you about the beach clubs in Gran Canaria to have fun while enjoying the sun. You should know that in Gran Canaria we don’t have the mythical clubs on the sand of our beaches. It seems that the coastal law does not allow it, although in other destinations in Spain they are very widespread (Ibiza, Costa del Sol, etc.). In this case, they are close to the coast for a dip or with a private pool. Most of them are in the south of Gran Canaria, that is, in tourist areas and where we have more sunny days throughout the year, we tell you about it!

Beach clubs in Gran Canaria

Below you will find all the options and prices per sun lounger (from) so that you can choose the one you like best. Bear in mind that almost all of them have reservations and even private jacuzzi or cabins for groups. If you are going in a group, the best thing to do is to visit each website to see all the services.

✔ Perchel Beach Club, Arguineguin

This beach club in Gran Canaria specialises in families. In fact, one child under 12 years of age can enter free of charge for each adult (without sun lounger). Its large swimming pool has shallower areas to suit all kinds of people. They also have water sun beds and an infinity area with views of the sea and one of the most beautiful sunsets in Gran Canaria. As if that wasn’t enough, they also have a Spa. On the other hand, for the little ones, there is a Splash park, children’s playground and mini club with entertainer*. It also has a wide range of restaurants: Oxean, Nami Sushi Bar and La Arrocería. You can see all the prices and types of sun loungers on the button below. The cheapest option they offer is the following:

  • Price single sun lounger: from €30 per person, includes a glass of cava or juice.
  • Price double sun lounger: from €70 (two persons), includes a glass of cava or juice.
Services and reservations Perchel

*The mini club service is only available during the summer months. From 11th September 2023 until the start of the summer season, it will be closed.

✔ Chester, beach Club Puerto Rico Gran Canaria

This beach club in Puerto Rico is known because it is managed by the same owners of the Chester discotheques on the island. They have two central pools, a smaller one and different reserved areas. An ideal place to spend the day with friends or to celebrate a stag or hen party in Gran Canaria. We can say that it is one of the cheapest beach clubs in Gran Canaria. However, bear in mind that it is located in one of the most touristic areas of the island. You can see the prices of the beach club Chester below.

  • Price single sun lounger: from €25 per person (includes €15 food and drink)
  • Double sun lounger: from €50, that is, €25 per person (includes €30 food and drink)

✔ Maroa, Anfi del Mar, Mogan beach club Gran Canaria

The beach club Maroa is the only beach club in Gran Canaria that doesn’t have a swimming pool, but the good thing is that it has direct access to the sea, so the water will always be cleaner and fresher. It is located a few metres from Anfi beach, inside the artificial island of Maroa or island of the heart. We show you below the access stairs to the bathing area, it is only about 25-50 metres from your sun loungers.

The restaurant’s menu is quite extensive with meat, fish, salads, sandwiches, hamburgers, etc. and you can choose to go to a table or have it delivered to your sun lounger. The food we have tried here is quite good. On the other hand, next to the solarium there is a chill out area with sofas and sand to spend the day having a drink. Below you can see the prices of this beach club in the south of Gran Canaria.

  • Price single sun lounger: €15,50 per person
  • Price double sun lounger: €31 (two people)

✔ Kai Club, beach club Patalavaca

If you want more beach club options in Gran Canaria, the Kai Club is another place to check out. It is on the beachfront of Patalavaca beach and has a beach bar with snacks such as sandwiches and sushi. The public here is quite varied, that is to say, we can say that it is visited by families as well as groups of friends for stag and hen parties and so on. If you want to spend the day here, bear in mind that there is no charge for the sunbed, but there is a minimum consumption and an extra entrance fee on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. We explain it to you:

  • Day pass premium (1ª line): €55 per person with €35 of consumption
  • Day pass basic (2ª line): €50 per person with €35 of consumption
  • Day pass kids (4-12 years old): €20 per person with €15 of consumption

✔ La Punta Yacht Club, Pasito Blanco

This yacht club is located in an idyllic area of Gran Canaria, in the private urbanisation of Pasito Blanco. It has a jetty, as well as stairs with direct access to the sea and a restaurant with an interesting gastronomic offer. We recommend the fried moray chips, calamari and potatoes with mojo. Please note that during Easter, July and August, access to the restaurant and beach club is only for members from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. The prices of the sunbeds are quite cheap, considering the surroundings. Next to the jetty there are fresh water showers to wash off the salt water.

  • Individual sunbed: 15€ per person

✔ Amadores Beach Club Gran Canaria, Amadores beach

This is one of the oldest beach clubs in Gran Canaria. It is right on the beach of Amadores, another quite touristic area in the municipality of Mogán. We don’t know the food first hand, as it’s been a long time since we’ve been there, but if you look at the menu you can order practically anything. You can see all the Amadores Beach club prices and sunbeds options on their website. The cheapest alternative they offer for the day is the following:

  • Double bed: €35 (two people), includes a glass of cava

✔ Blue Marlin Ibiza Sky Lounge Gran Canaria, Faro hotel

Another alternative beach club in Gran Canaria for a day of sunbathing and cocktails is the Blue Marlin Ibiza Sky Lounge. It is on the top floor of the Faro Collection Hotel, which offers unique views of Maspalomas beach and the lighthouse. This is the most expensive option, but also the most exclusive as it is a smaller space.

  • Price single sun lounger: €15 + €50 minimum consumption = €65 per person

✔ Nativo Las Palmas, Moya, Gran Canaria beach clubs

Nativo Las Palmas is not a beach club as such, as it is a bit far from the coast. It is more of a restaurant with a terrace and swimming pool. There is an area of the restaurant where you can lie down and have a drink as shown below, but there are no sunbeds.

Nativo Las Palmas swimming pool

The bad thing about this place is that it is in the north of Gran Canaria, so there is less chance of a sunny day. In any case, if you are looking for locations for a group celebration in Gran Canaria, I would consider it. As it’s not very big, they may be able to close it for you exclusively. The breakfasts are super tasty by the way, you can see our article about Nativo Las Palmas where we tell you about it.

Finally, on the beach of El Cura is the Ocean Beach Club Gran Canaria, but it is not a beach club, it is a hotel. Similarly, note that Anfi Beach Club and Blue Bay Beach Club Gran Canaria are also hotels. Finally, the Blue Bay Beach Club is a hotel in Bahía Feliz and the Beach Club San Agustin is another hotel on the beach of San Agustín, i.e. they are not beach clubs with a solarium. In any case, we believe that with this list of places you have enough options to choose from and remember that prices are subject to change, it is best to always check the website of each beach club.
