This route of enduro since San Mateo to the Peak of Las Nieves we have called her The Peak of the Snows because during this circular track we crowned the Pico de Las Nieves twice. Is about a perfect route for enduro or electric bicycles RIDERS in good physical shape.

The route begins in the town of San Mateo, where we find several parking areas. We started by making the longest climb along steep roads. This way we will avoid traffic on general roads and cover fewer kilometres. After a good stretch ascending by road, we begin to climb along paths that pass between Canarian pines to reach the Llanos de La Pezo. Here usually There is a kiosk where you can stop to buy water or fruit. We continue on the road to the Peak of Las Nieves, where we can also stop to buy something to eat and drink.
First descent for enduro bike in Pico de Las Nieves
We started our first descent through a fairly rocky variant of medium technical level, to reach Las Mesas again. Next, we go up again, but this time on a dirt track with spectacular views. The route continues by road to El Pico de las Nieves and takes another descent from the Heliport.
Descent from El Pico de Las Nieves to San Mateo
This descent runs between pine trees. Little by little it becomes a technical and closed trail, with a lot of wet rock. When you reach a track, The route continues through another well-known descent from the Canary Islands Cup of yesteryear. From here you will have spectacular views of Las Palmas from Gran Canaria. At the end of the descent, it ascends a little more by road and ends by a quite fun technical descent in the same parking lot where we started. A round route!
