This bike route through the Guiniguada ravine is well known among cyclists living in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Although it passes through the channel of a ravine, the Cabildo or Government of Gran Canaria has fixed it lately. Currently the road is quite wide, as well as flat. That is why it’s perfect for Gravel Bike, Mountain Bike, electrics or any other type of bikes. The track is only suitable for bikes or walkers. Therefore, t is not allowed to pass on the dirt track to motorcycles or cars.
Bike route through Guiniguada ravine
The track starts near the Stone Bridge or Puente de Piedra, in the Triana area. And today it extends to practically Santa Brígida municipality, without having to ride through the general road.
After riding the entire Guiniguada ravine, we continue to the San Lorenzo neighborhood, where we went along quite technical roads that surrounded the dam Presa del Pintor.
