✔ Restaurants in Maspalomas
1. El Senator, restaurants in Maspalomas with sea views
This place is a classic place to eat in Maspalomas, since it has a privileged location. It is located on the beachfront of Maspalomas and offers Canarian, Mediterranean and international food. Have good rice dishes, typical potatoes with mojo, salads, fish, etc. Given its location, it is quite touristy and therefore expensive, but its location alone makes it worth a bite to eat here.
2. Samsara, romantic restaurant in Maspalomas
One of the The most romantic restaurants in Maspalomas is Samsara. His cuisine is creative with oriental influences. Also, as you can see below, the decoration accompanies. It only opens for dinner and is in high demand, so Save it for a special day and remember to book in advance. It is very close to the Charca de Maspalomas and the Lighthouse, but you have the exact location on the map at the beginning of this post.
3. Restaurante Allende 22º, restaurant in Maspalomas with Mediterranean cuisine
El Allende 22º It is probably one of the best restaurants in Maspalomas and Playa del Inglés Mediterranean cuisine. It is a chain that already has several restaurants in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The cuisine is practically 100% Spanish with typical dishes such as broken eggs, croquettes, salmorejo from Cordoba, cachopo, etc. They also have some Canarian delicacies such as potatoes with mojo or grilled Herreño cheese.
4. La Palmera Sur Restaurant, one of the best restaurants in the south of Gran Canaria
Inside the Gold by Marina hotel we also have another of the the best restaurants Playa del Inglés: the South Palm Tree. It has a varied gastronomic offer similar to the Allende restaurant, although perhaps somewhat more sophisticated and elaborate, therefore, higher price. At least that's what it seemed to us when we went. In any case, the food is delicious and the service is good.
✔ Restaurants in San Agustín, Las Burras, Águila Beach and Romeral Castle
5. Mao Mao beach, restaurants in Maspalomas (playa de Las Burras)
It is a beach bar located in the heart of playa de Las Burras. Despite the small size of its kitchen, you can't imagine how delicious everything is. We love him Galician-style octopus, squid, croquettes, potatoes with mojo... all very delicious! But without a doubt, the best thing is its location if you want eat on the beach (on the sand). They don't make reservationss, so we recommend going early to get a table.
6. The Captain, restaurants in Maspalomas with Canarian cuisine (San Agustín)
If The Senator is the classic of the restaurants in Maspalomas with sea views, the El Capitan restaurant is for the San Agustin beach, since it is located on the first line of the promenade. The site is very frequented by locals, although it is in a tourist environment. Here you can try some delicious potatoes with mojo and cheese, its abundant salads, octopus, fish, rice, etc. The price is moderate, it will depend on whether you order fresh fish, seafood and wine. You can eat to share for around €25 per person.
7. El Rincón Canario Restaurant, Playa del Águila
This restaurant was always one one of our favorite Canarian food on the island, both for the views and for its food. However, since it changed owners we have not returned, we hope it continues just as well. You tell us now! The terrace of this restaurant is practically inside the Aguila Beach, With which the sea views are spectacular.
8. Grill Aeroclub Restaurant, Bahía Feliz
If you are looking for an Escape from the touristy scene and eat delicious food, be sure to visit the Grill Aeroclub restaurant. They have good fresh fish, grilled meats and Canarian food. The blanched gofio is delicious. The waiters are super friendly and the prices are reasonable. Of course, keep in mind that the restaurant is huge and there are usually celebrations. Therefore, don't expect a quiet meal with sea views and relaxed. If you can, book in advance since on weekends it is usually in high demand by locals.
9. Liágora Canarias Restaurant, Castillo del Romeral
If you're looking for authentic restaurant where to eat fish in Gran Canaria, you must have Liágora Canarias within your options. They also make very good rice dishes, although we order the old frita every time we go.. It comes accompanied by potatoes with mojo and the BEST gofio scalding that we have tried so far. It is located in the small local town of Castillo del Romeral, a non-touristy environment.
✔ Restaurants in Mogán (El Pajar)
10. La Bahía del Pajar Restaurant, El Pajar
Here you can eat a good fish with sea views in a 100% local environment. It is located a few steps from Arguineguin, on the same beach as Santa Águeda. An area known as El Pajar. Many may prefer the El Boya restaurant next door, especially for its good price, but the food lacks quality and the lines are huge. Here you have good raw materials, attention and price. The views are equally good from both because one is next to the other.

Aridañy has moved to El Tablero but is still just as good and cheap
Antonio Guedes Martel says
I think that the four restaurants in the Barranco de Guayadeque should also be visited when you come to Gran Canaria.
Local Guide Gran Canaria says
Hello Antonio!! Thank you very much for your comment! In our articles on Ingenio, Agüimes and Guayadeque we recommend them. In this case, since we are talking about restaurants in the south, Guayadeque we believe is a little more inland hehe, a little off the southern route. All the best.
Victor says
Aridañy and Boya (Bar Playa) cannot be missing from this list
Local Guide Gran Canaria says
Oh well, Aridañy had never heard of it! I'm not crazy about the Playa Bar hehe, I prefer La Bahía del Pajar, the one next door 🙂 A hug!
Rachel says
Aridañy is in Montaña Blanca, going up the caravan sites straight to the town square, you can't get lost, you CANNOT pay with a card!! Exquisite Canarian food and very well priced!!!!
Aurora says

Yes!! We agree!! A hug
L.Arrese says
It will be a matter of taste, but none of these places passes the approval, in our opinion. Some are beautiful and are located next to others that would be notable.
Los Guayres, El Tapeo, El Boya, Acaymo, Grill Costa Mar, Costa Aerial, Liagora, Bar David, El Mocán, Pizzissima, El Mato, Los Canarios 1, La Aquarela (although not all dishes), Puerto Azul, The Alpendre Casa Félix,… are a few examples of restaurants of all levels better than those reviewed. Yes, Gran Canaria is tremendously expensive, but you can eat well.
Local Guide Gran Canaria says
Hello!! Indeed, every opinion is a matter of taste. That's why we also leave your contributions here for our readers 🙂 it's a matter of each person's tastes and experiences if they are better or worse than those reviewed! All the best!
