The truth is that the Qué Leche restaurant It's getting richer and richer. We have been there about 6 times and our last visit was in January 2022 and… it always surprises us! Its owners are a couple of chefs who trained and met at the famous Basque Culinary Center, in San Sebastian. In their proposals they present a mixture of flavors and influence of cuisine from different parts of the world with a presentation of 10. Each of the elements on the menu are homegrown and all their dishes are exclusive. That is, you will not find any restaurant Gran Canaria let him imitate it.
As you can see, the place is small and its kitchen is visible. It also has a charming terrace on Torres Street (pedestrian). They also have a great service team and, as we see it, it is one of the best restaurants in Las Palmas de Canaria.
Que Leche Restaurant
Let's get to the point! The Qué Leche restaurant's menu is not very extensive. We warn you that everything will catch your attention, so it is difficult to choose. What they recommend (we too) is order several dishes to share. This way you will try more things. The last time we went there were a few of us, so we were able to try quite a few things. Below we show you some of their star dishes. For example, your broken eggs with sweet potato, shrimp and truffle mayonnaise. It's something that never fails, they make them delicious.
On the other hand, they also have the classic fish and chips on their menu, but with their personal touch. The presentation says it all, although it is also delicious.
Another of their legendary dishes is pig, you have to ask for it. The bark above will make you close your eyes and fly. Plus, thanks to the sauce that accompanies the sweet potato puree, it is super juicy.
They continue to preserve their classics such as candied artichoke and squid with onion juice, two essentials. They have also incorporated new features into their proposal such as the niguiri of Cuban-style rice and amberjack dumplings with red curry (a spicy touch). The truth is that it does not disappoint, although perhaps the portions this time seemed a little smaller to us (or maybe we were very hungry).
Desserts
We continue with the desserts… Que Leche cheesecake It eclipses all the desserts they have, so we will only talk to you about it. Honestly, one of the best we've ever tried.
In short, the Qué Leche restaurant stands out for the originality of its dishes and mix of flavors.
