Las Lagunetas restaurant is a well-known place in Gran Canaria for being one of the few places that continue to offer Canarian food within its menu and in the capital. Next we will give you some details about this place that you cannot miss among your restaurant options in Las Palmas if you want to try the Canarian gastronomy.

Las Lagunetas restaurant

It is a restaurant that the locals frequent whenever we feel like eating some papas arrugadas (Canarian dish made of potatoes with sauce) or a good roasted pork leg sandwich. In addition, the service they provide is quite good and fast. Here are some of their dishes:

Canarian food

As we were saying, here you will find a wide and varied offer of Canarian food: ropa vieja, local cheeses, potatoes with mojo, gofio mousse, roasted pork leg, fish with mojo, etc. They also prepare the traditional Canarian sancocho on Saturdays. In addition, to taste all these delicacies, it has two pleasant terraces that overlook the pedestrian streets of the Triana neighborhood. Here you will practically be surrounded by residents.

Likewise, on their menu they also have dishes and tapas from Spanish cuisine such as croquettes, Iberian ham, scrambled eggs and salmorejo or gazpacho. Likewise, sometimes they have dishes off the menu, such as the sancocho (grouper with onions, gofio pella, sweet potato and wrinkled potatoes). In the Las Lagunetas bodegón the prices are quite affordable, two people can eat here for less than €20.

You should keep in mind that they close on Sundays and on Mondays and Saturdays they only open until 5:00 p.m. The contact telephone number is 928363094, although they do not accept reservations.
