Who we are

Localguidegrancanaria.com is a site with the main purpose of being your local guide from Gran Canaria. Moreover, we would like that all the written information is useful for you during your holidays or before them.

Focused on you, as a foreign tourist, we would like to present you all kind of activities which you will be able to do at Gran Canaria. All of this from a local point of view. We would love to help you and be your virtual and local guide. Where do locals go? Where do locals eat? What do they eat? Which are the coolest and less touristic places at Gran Canaria?

Our major passion is to travel, ‘to travel is to live’. Every time that we travel somewhere we look for the most authentic places, talk to the local people, see how they live, taste its food, try to learn its language, know its customs… That is why we have thought that we could share with you what we know from Gran Canaria. Motivate you to chose this destination in case you don’t know where to go. Also, it would be awesome if we can achieve that the tourists which visit every year Gran Canaria have a wide list of options of things to do. It would be nice if they are motivated to leave their sun beds to discover the island charms reading my posts.

Step by step we will be telling you all that we know and all that we will discover. How do we live here and what could you do if you look for authentic experiences. We would try our best to be your local guide. It would be a pleasure to help you!
