Transfer from Gran Canaria airport

If during your holidays in Gran Canaria you are not going to rent a car and you need a transfer from the airport to another point on the island, we suggest you see the different options below. In addition to prices and destinations, you can check reviews from other travelers. The transfers are to all the tourist sites on the island and even to other less visited places: Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Taurito, Puerto de Mogán, Puerto Rico, Maspalomas, Amadores, Anfi beach, Playa del Cura, Playa del Inglés, etc.

In this link you can check the rates of the transfers from Gran Canaria airport depending on where you are going, the number of seats of the vehicle, as well as if you book the round trip. The journey takes from 15 minutes (Telde) to 50 minutes (Agaete or Mogán).

Book your transfer Airport – Hotel here

Likewise, in the previous links you can also book your private transfer to and from the previous points of interest, not only from / to the Airport. For example, from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to Meloneras beach.

Public transport Gran Canaria airport

On the other hand, if you are looking for options to move by public transport from Gran Canaria Airport, it is also possible. The problem is that Global, the island bus company, does not connect all the municipalities and tourist attractions that we mentioned before, only the capital and Maspalomas. We mention below the lines from the airport to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and the south.

  • The bus line that goes from Gran Canaria Airport to Las Palmas is number 60.
  • The bus lines that go from the airport to Maspalomas are 66 and 90.

You can check on the Global website all the schedules and lines they offer.

Rent a car is the best option

If you plan to move around Gran Canaria, the best option is to rent a car at the airport. Thus, you save the transfer to your hotel or apartment and you have freedom of schedules to move around the island. In addition, public transport does not reach all the sites of Gran Canaria that you should know and in private transport it would be very expensive. Check and compare all the car rental companies in Gran Canaria at RentalCars. This site includes de local companies such as Cicar, TopCar and AutoReisen.
