Regarding the beaches to go with children in Gran Canaria, it is one of the plans that you can do 100% free. At the same time, you have to consider that the Canary Islands are in the Atlantic. And, therefore, not all beaches are equally safe. Here we list some of the best known for its calm waters.
✔ Mogán beach
Mogán beach is located in one of the most touristic areas of Gran Canaria, but fortunately it has an special charm. Both the beach and Puerto de Mogán. Here you will have all the services you may need: sun beds, showers, umbrellas, water sports rental, etc.
✔ Las Canteras
For us, Las Canteras beach is the best on the island because it has everything. As it is a very large beach, you should know that the recommended areas of the beach to go with children are La Puntilla and Playa Chica.
✔ Las Burras
Las Burras beach has always been very familiar and not very touristy. It is one of our favorites. It has sun beds, umbrellas, showers and a beach bar.
Despite the fact that Patalavaca beach is surrounded by large buildings from the 70s, it continues to preserve its calm, crystalline waters and golden sand. In addition, it has practically all the services and it is a fairly local environment.
✔ Anfi del Mar
Anfi beach is one of the quietest thanks to the side dikes and the bay in which it is located. It has artificial sand brought from the Caribbean and the environment here is much more touristy.
✔ Amadores beach
It is a recommended beach to go with children because here the sea is totally flat. It is quite similar to Anfi, with sand brought from who knows where, but many visitors and locals love it.
