This enduro route departs from San Mateo and reaches the famous Las Nieves peak. We have called this circular track The RePico de Las Nieves because during this route we crown this peak twice. It is a perfect route for enduro electric bikes or riders with good physical shape.

The route begins in the town of San Mateo, where we find several parking areas. We started doing the longest climb on steep roads. In this way we will avoid the traffic of general roads and we will do fewer kilometers. After a good stretch ascending by road, we begin to climb paths that pass between Canarian pines to reach the Llanos de La Pez. Here there is usually a kiosk where you can stop to buy water or fruit. We continue by road to Pico de Las Nieves, where we can also stop to buy something to eat and drink.
First downhill for enduro bikes in Pico de Las Nieves
We begin our first downhill by a quite stony variant and of medium technical level, to reach Las Mesas again. Next, we go back up, but this time along a dirt track with spectacular views. The route continues by road to El Pico de las Nieves and takes another descent from the Heliport.
Downhill from Pico de Las Nieves to San Mateo
This downhill runs through pine trees. Little by little it becomes a technical and closed path, with a lot of wet rock. Upon reaching a track, the route continues through one well-known descent of the Canary Islands Cup. From here you will have spectacular views of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. At the end of the descent, it ascends a little further by road and ends with a quite fun technical descent in the same parking lot where we started. A round route!
