This time we want to share with you a circular route through Ojos de Garza, Ingenio and Arinaga on a gravel bike. A very interesting half coastal, half inland route through the eastern part of Gran Canaria. It is characterized by crossing a variety of trails, tracks and roads that make it perfect for a Gravel Bike or short-distance MTB.

Dirt tracks around Ingenio
We start the route in Ojos de Garza going up towards Ingenio along some dirt tracks that go straight into the interior of the Island (be calm, we will not go up that much). Keep in mind that these dirt tracks are not very crowded and can be a bit windy, depending on the time of year.

Route of low technical difficulty
Most of the route runs on trails and tracks with little technical difficulty. Only one path that takes us to Ingenio has a slight difficulty, very slight. This path takes us to the town of Ingenio, where we can buy drinks or load up on energy bars. Or even a sandwich!

Once we reach Ingenio, we will go towards Arinaga along some hidden dirt tracks, going downhill. Then we will connect with a little road until we reach the town of Arinaga. Here the route continues along the coast.

The rest of the route we will alternate between dirt tracks and trails passing by the Cabrón beach until ending again in Ojos de Garza. With which, we will not pass through the same area at any time. It is a fairly entertaining circular route with good views. Little technical difficulty and guaranteed fun, especially if you catch a day with little wind.
