Enduro MTB route through Barranco del Toro ravine

27/02/2022 Por Local Guide Gran Canaria

On this occasion we share with you an MTB enduro route through the Barranco del Toro ravine in the southern area of the island of Gran Canaria. It is a perfect route to do with an Enduro Mtb or All Mountain bike. It is circular and begins at Las Burras beach. Here you will find a large and safe parking area.

Enduro through Barranco del Toro ravine by bike

This circular route could be one of the most recommended to do by electric bicycle, since it has quite a few technical climbing areas along a cobbled path. That is, only a few will be able to climb on bicycles without motors.

Views during the route

The route begins by going up the road. There is a moment when you can continue going up trails (they are really little technical descents, cyclable uphill). Although if you don’t want to get tired, continue by road to the Fataga viewpoint.

Characteristics of the route

Take note of the main characteristics of this enduro route through the south of Gran Canaria.

✔ Things to consider before the route

Bring enough water and food to complete the entire route. The track does not go through any store in which to buy. Although we will pass near the Fataga viewpoint, where there are usually quite a few people, but no shop. We also recommend you to bring spare tubes, because the rock can easily puncture you.

Download the track of the route

Then you can download the track in .gpx format so you can follow the route on your own. If you don’t know how to download it and follow it from your GPS or smartphone with the app Guru maps, we’ll explain it here. If you want to support us so that we can continue creating content for you about Gran Canaria, we would appreciate it if you purchase any of our tracks, either to enjoy incredible routes or as a donation.
