In this article, we want to share with you some of the daily menu restaurants in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria that we know and often visit. These daily menus are usually offered during weekdays and typically consist of a starter, main course, dessert or coffee, with or without a drink included. It’s possible to enjoy homemade food at a reasonable price in the capital of Gran Canaria, and we’re going to tell you all about it. Join us!
Daily Menu Restaurants in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
1) Cafetería Pizzería Olivia: €11,90
Cafetería Pizzería Olivia is one of the daily menu restaurants in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria that offers the best quality-price ratio for its dishes. The menu costs €11.90 and includes two dishes to choose from: starter and main or main and dessert or coffee, both options with a drink. If you choose the first option, dessert or coffee is not included. When we visited, we loved it, both in terms of quantity and quality, as well as presentation. We show you two of their main courses: macaroni with truffle sauce and a Uruguayan beef medallion with vegetables and potatoes. The menu is available from Monday to Thursday.
2) Restaurant El Buen Comer: €10.75
El Buen Comer is one of the most legendary set menu restaurants in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. It belongs to the Hermanos Rogelio group, known for its menu restaurants all over the capital. There are usually 3 or 4 options to choose from for both the first and second course. Finally, you can choose between dessert or coffee for €10.75. We love it because it does it all: quality, quantity and good service. This restaurant is located at Paseo Cayetano de Lugo number 27, Arenales area. The set menu is available from Monday to Friday.
3) Hermanos Rogelio: €11,50
There is also the original Hermanos Rogelio restaurant in the vicinity of Alcaravaneras-Mesa y López with a menu for €13 from Monday to Friday with the same conditions as in Buen Comer. If you eat at the bar it costs €10. If we had to choose between the two, we would choose El Buen Comer.
4) Restaurant Hermanos García, Santa Catalina Park: €13,50
This daily menu restaurant in Las Palmas belongs to a well-known group of restaurants called Hermanos García. The location of this particular one is close to Parque Santa Catalina, at 59 General Vives Street. They have a varied menu of quality homemade food from €13.50 with a starter, main course, and drink, to choose between dessert or coffee. Their dishes are tasty, and the service is friendly and quick, although it’s certainly a no-frills restaurant. Just good homemade food. You can enjoy their menu from Monday to Saturday, although Saturdays are more expensive.
5) Restaurant Mandu Korean food menu: €12,95
If you fancy a different menu, at the Korean restaurant in Las Palmas named Mandu you can enjoy their bento boxes for only €12.95 per person. It’s available at Mandu Alisios from Monday to Friday and at Mandu de Juan XXIII from Tuesday to Thursday. Not at their restaurant in Las Canteras beach. The menu consists of a miso soup, a salad, two pieces of kimbap, two mandu dumplings and a main course. For the main you can choose from breaded pork fillet (donkatsu) with rice, beef bulgogi strips with rice (the same for chicken), sweet potato japchae noodles and boneless chicken thighs. The price includes a drink (water, soft drink or beer) and coffee or tea.
6) Hermanos García, Guanarteme: €12
At 165 Fernando Guanarteme Street, you can also eat at another restaurant in this group for €12, and from Monday to Saturday. Keep in mind that on Saturdays the menu costs one euro more and they slightly increase the quality of their dishes. In all cases, it includes two courses, a drink, and dessert or coffee.
7) Restaurant Las Lagunetas: €15,50
In the busy Triana neighbourhood you also have the option of eating at one of the most traditional restaurants in the area, the bodegón Las Lagunetas. Here they have a set menu from Monday to Friday for 15,50€ per person. It includes two courses, drink, bread and a choice of dessert or coffee. Here you have the option of eating in one of the pedestrian streets or in the interior dining room. The restaurant also has very good Canarian tapas such as their famous roast leg.
8) Restaurant Gourié 41: €15
On the other hand, you have the option to eat the daily menu at Gourié 41, another restaurant specializing in daily menus in the Triana neighborhood. The price of their menu is €15 with a drink, and then you can choose between dessert or coffee. The food is delicious, and there are always several dishes to choose from, both for the starter and the main course. It’s not the cheapest menu, but the area is more expensive. They also serve excellent breakfasts with freshly made leg and friendly service. Their menu of the day is available from Monday to Saturday.
