This route of hiking in Gran Canaria leaves from the town of Arbejales in the municipality of Teror. It is a circular that It crosses the beautiful Sintes ravine, also El Álamo and its famous stairs and ends in the Barbuzano ravine. This is an intermediate-advanced level route, since there are several somewhat inclined steps. Likewise, as we show in the final video, there are parts in which we will have to hold on to railings to be able to climb. This makes it a super entertaining route and, as we show you below, most beautiful.
Hiking route Arbejales – Barranco de Sintes – El Álamo
As we told you, the walk is circular and starts from the town of Arbejales. Keep in mind that the first 3-4 kilometers pass through some dangerous road sections that are not the most spectacular part of the route. But once you get past this part, You will love exploring the Sintes ravine, climbing the stairs of the Álamo Trail and discovering the unknown Arbejales ravine. In total It is about 9 kilometers of route and, despite not having much unevenness, Yes, there are some quite steep sections of descent that can make us slip. The trail has a length of about 9 kilometers and it took us about 2,5 hours to complete it, although we made stops to record the video that we share with you at the end. On the other hand, although It is not a very long distance, keep in mind that it has a total ascent of 450 m and several somewhat difficult steps.

IMPORTANT: We recommend bringing at least 1 liter of water per person and some snacks, since you won't find any stores along the way. Likewise, it is important to carry hiking shoes, since you will find yourself with very pending pronounced which can be slippery. Also, when we get to the Álamo neighborhood there is a small error on the track, take a good look at the mistake before making it yourself.
